Every Saturday morning I like to take our little Coco to the Shire Farmer's Market. Coco loves all the different smells, sounds and both fury and human friends she gets to meet.

I love the market because the fruit, vegetable and other foods (pastry, pasta and meat products) are not only cheaper but they are extremely fresh and last longer than the fruit and vegetables you buy at the shops.

Finally, they have great coffee you can have while you shop and they have homemade Dim Sum you can eat there or takeaway to cook at home for another meal.

It's not a big market but has everything you need. The consistency, freshness and the consistent care that all the stall owners bring each Saturday is why I go every weekend. I'm grateful that there is such a place I can go that's so close to home.
I almost forgot about the organic wine I discovered that is reasonably priced and actually tastes good.... and the knife and tool carving stall. Get your knives, scissors and garden tools sharpened while you enjoy the market.
I you're ever in the area or looking for a good market to go, head over to the Shire Farmer's Market.
Food and coffee always the best at a market 😎
